This rounded, obsidian-toned vase feels carved from cooled lava, its narrow neck and full body adding quiet drama to any space. From sketch to handcraft, each vase in the Sandy Ceramic Collection is a journey of creation. Every form begins with a hand-drawn sketch, carrying the spontaneity and imperfection of the artist’s line into the final object. The glaze holds fragments of the land itself — sand, shells, ash, clay, and stone — capturing the essence of Absheron’s raw landscape. Each piece reveals a textured surface that echoes the shifting patterns of earth and sand. Every detail is both deliberate and organic, turning each vase into a vessel of earth’s memory and human touch.
