Description
From sketch to handcraft, each vase in the Sandy Ceramic Collection is a journey of creation. Every form begins with a hand-drawn sketch, carrying the spontaneity and imperfection of the artist’s line into the final object. The glaze holds fragments of the land itself — sand, shells, ash, clay, and stone — capturing the essence of Absheron’s raw landscape. Each piece reveals a textured surface echoing shifting patterns of earth and sand. Every detail is both deliberate and organic. This S.18 piece is crowned with a sculptural bird lid, adding a totemic, protective character to the vessel.
